after a fresh install of debian 6.0 everything seems to be working- even the internet. but when I do 'sudo aptitude install [package]' it fails to fetch. so I go to my software sources. the rest is clear.
so i;m not sure but is it normal to have squeeze-updates main but not squeeze main? how do I fix this? it wont let me add a source even when i'm root. do I have to edit the file? where is it?

when I do sudo aptitude in a non root terminal or with out hitting su before, It says im not on the 'sudoers list' how do i add my user?
